An Elopement in a Hot Air Balloon

When Kylie from Just For Love Photography approached us with the idea of holding an elopement in a Hot Air Balloon, we were pretty darn excited! The idea grew from a desire to show that eloping to tie the knot doesn’t mean sacrificing the romance of a wedding. In fact, this wedding inspiration shows that if you think outside of the box a little, you can start your marriage in spectacular style! We always encourage our engaged couples to challenge the traditions when getting married. In this case, getting creative with the concept of a wedding resulted in photos that have to be seen to be believed!

This elopement story begins with two totally adorable lovebirds wanting an intimate & romantic setting for their wedding, while injecting some fun (and epicness) in the form of a rainbow hot air balloon.

They came together in a field in the Byron Bay hinterland with the lovely celebrant, Kate from Inner Circle Ceremonies.

And this is where the epic part begins.. stepping into the inflated hot air balloon to capture http://pharmacy-no-rx.net some of the most epic wedding portraits we have ever seen!

After all the squealing from excitement and kissing inside the hot air balloon, the couple definitely deserved a beautifully styled picnic, complete with hand-illustrated paper goods, hand-dyed silks, and delicious cocktails and cake! We were so proud to see our beautiful props surrounding the couple and helping to make their day complete.

What an incredible day! You can see this shoot featured over on Modern Wedding Magazine blog (yep, we were pretty darn stoked by that!).

A huge thanks to Kylie from Just For Love Photography for inviting us to be part of it.
